So a bit about me! I am currently living and working in Calabar, West Africa. Home though, is Melbourne, Australia where I lived with my room mate and BFF Anna. (Sorry, I couldn’t resist). I have strong interest in community and cultural development, not-for-profits and social media. And I also enjoy creating and devouring delicious food. The purpose of my blog is to simply share some of my experiences, interest and thoughts with you.
While working for IBM I have had the opportunity to do some fascinating and rewarding work in some non traditional locations. These range from the extremes of the remote indigenous community of Aurukun in Far North Queensland to my current location, Calabar in Nigeria.
So, what do I actually do? I’m using my passion for marketing working as a marketing and communications consultant in role as Project Executive in Nigeria. I have been with IBM for five and a half years gaining experience in the area of Communications, Channel Marketing, Project Management and Marketing planning, strategy and execution. These skills combined with my, interest in developing markets, a desire to do more and my desire to seek out adventure have opened up some amazing doors for me.
